Gossips and Interviews: Interview with Sunil Shakya!

A Saturday night conversation with the young talent who needs no introduction. Sunil Shakya is young and talented guitarist in the country at present music scenario. After struggling more than 3 years in the local scene he has been signed as a guitarist/vocalist in a major record label band "Cobweb" which has been the big hit inside and outside for more than 15 years. Gossips and Interviews has shared some of moments with Sunil Shakya.

Gossips and Interviews: When did you decide to become an artist?

Sunil: I never decide to become an artist it goes like this.

Gossips and Interviews: Did you went to any educational institution or you are self taught? If any then where?

Sunil: I didn't went to school or something, i was taught by my brothers.

Gossips and Interviews: How long you been playing? What are you experiences?

Sunil: It's been like 9 to 10 years and about experience. lets not talk about that because some are so good and some are so bad.

Gossips and Interviews: Alright then, Who is you major influence?

Sunil: METALLICA !

Gossips and Interviews: Bands or artists you like in local scene?

Sunil: EQUALS! I love their composition.

Gossips and Interviews: As being a guitarist in major record label band Cobweb, how do you feel being in a band?

Sunil:It's great i can't explain

Gossips and Interviews: When did you joined Cobweb?

Sunil: Now it's going to be 1 year!

Gossips and Interviews: Are there any bands beside Cobweb you play with? And how do you manage playing in both bands?

Sunil: Yes! I do have a band Plan B.I think everything depends on the band members, everyone is so understanding and helpful!

Gossips and Interviews: As you have played most of the places in valley and debuted some places outside the valley, how do you get your fans? and how do you react and give you feedback?

Sunil: I never gave any reaction or feedback just go to the stage and gave my 100% that's all!

Gossips and Interviews: You have incredible voice and outstanding guitar playing, how do you maintain both fields? What are you major influences on vocals?

Sunil: I don't maintain anything. I just sing! I don't think my voice is that great, my main influence is James Hetfield from Metallica. He has fucking great vocals!
